Very personable and friendly staff. The food was delicious. The service is great! The location of the restaurant is old but still chic. And schnapps on the house, what more could you want!
The fish platter for just under 18 euros is a joke. Only fried food on the plate. You can't tell what's on your plate. The crowning glory is the water. 1 liter of Aqua Vitale for 6.00 euros, which costs 36 cents a bottle in the supermarket, that's pure madness. You should avoid the shop. Bad quality and high prices. This is a world better.
-We ate paella and it was excellent, I would definitely recommend this dish on a visit. -The dessert that followed was great (crema catalana)! -The service was also friendly overall. -Prices paella: -seafruit with chicken: € 18 one order & € 16 per person if you take it in pairs or more -more seafood (without chicken): 19 €, one order & 17 € per person if you take it in pairs or more Take a look at the pictures of the paella (-> food menu -> highlights -> paella). How the other dishes are, something pizza, I can't say, but you don't have to order pizza from the Spaniard either :)
Poor level of foods. Old stink shrimp. Too salty chorizo perhaps bought from Lidl? Not fresh salad.Restaurant smell of moled.
Poor quality food, rude staff, mixed up orders
Very good Spanish food and of good quality, the attention and the service to the client very well.,
I liked the place a lot, good customer service and good food. I recommend the barbecue for two people, very good value for money. Cozy place.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very tasty food, courteous service, absolutely recommendable
Original Spanish ambience. The Fichtelberg was very good, almost too much for one person
Good food at a bit expensive prices. Portions were good and food was really tasty. However, the prices were a bit expensive. (Especially with the tapas) Service was very nice and the atmosphere was nice too.
After 50 minutes waiting for simple tortilla de patatas and calamari a la plancha while watching the service pouring the rests of wine from the serving jars back to the bottles, we simply left.
Nice and casual atmosphere. Attentive service. Eaten outside on the terrace. Corona measures were not followed very strictly. Food fine.
We had lunch. Excellent quality with very nice service. I can only recommend
We had dinner today at the end of a nice trip to the lake in "Costa del Sol". The very friendly Spanish waitress took us to the beautiful rustic terrace and after the currently mandatory recording of personal data due to Covid, she took our order shortly afterwards. We ordered # 5 "Pulpo a la Gallega" as a starter and # 49 "Calamaritos a la Plancha" as the main course. (First of all, I am Spanish with roots in Galicia ...) About the ordered dishes: The Pulpo - which I was especially looking forward to as a half Galician - was unfortunately a complete failure! As a tapa / starter thought came served in a small. Plate (dimension roughly like a saucer) approx. 8-9 pieces of pulpo in oil which were extremely overcooked and therefore tasted like something apart from pulpo! A cheek to ask for something like 10 €! Here it makes the impression that the octopus, cooked in advance in the pot, has been waiting for your use since early morning. - Absolute NoGo! - Well, now to the main course, After the good and delicious salad that went with it, the "Calamaritos a la Plancha" came shortly afterwards, these were - to my surprise - really SENSATIONAL! nicely fried and with very good olive oil and a delicious alioli sauce, even the fries tasted extremely good with this oil. In terms of time, we got the food and drinks served without long waiting times, but I have to say when we arrived at 1 p.m. on a Sunday there wasn't much going on, most of the guests come later in the afternoon / evening when we left almost an hour later the terrace is already well filled with guests. Would i go there again? Yes, but certainly not to order Pulpo, during my stay there I saw the ordered dishes at the neighboring tables and visually they looked really tasty and there are some interesting things on the menu ... Oh well i forgot In terms of price, there are also both sunny and dark sides, I had mentioned and justified that the Pulpo was cheeky for 10 €, the Calamaritos, on the other hand, were completely OK for 13.90 (I recommend), But drinks at 3.50 for 0.33 Coke Zero or 3.2 for 0.33 Coke Light were a bit overpriced in my opinion. Hope I can help one or the other with this recession :-)
Great food and wine ... as always. The terrace is an absolute highlight in summer! Those who love dry white wine are well served with the "Winoverde". Card payment is problematic, cash is preferred.
I came from Stuttgart and expected better service, pizza 12 euros for an equally good one in the kebab shop for 4.50 euros too high prices, my companion ordered tiramisu for dessert and asked for religious reasons whether it was tiramisu without it There is alcohol, the waiter assured that there is no alcohol in it, unfortunately she had to experience that this was a lie, when I asked the waiter / boss about it, he said to me, there is alcohol in everyone and that we meet times should behave as adults and child behavior is. Neither respect for religion nor for guests, they definitely cannot accept criticism. It is highly recommended to everyone who wants to have lard flies in their food, I can only say to everyone else, avoid this place.
Food is tasty and receipts are quite respecting the real taste of Spain. Probably they should look after a bit more the hygiene of the place itself and prices are in line with the all foreign cousins restaurant. I guess the weather was a bit expensive. Check out the bill here in the picture.
Visited the beer garden today. Nice service and the food was good. Unfortunately, I have to deduct stars because the plates weren't clean, a fly was baked on our pizza and the prices were already very expensive.
Great food and everyone was also very nice. We tried the salmon with the champagne sauce and the paella and both dishes were delicious!
Very good service and friendly staff. The food was good and the prices are great.
Little implementation of hygiene measures. Food unappealing and partly warmed up. Object is very old. It has nothing to do with a good Spaniard.
If you ever tasted real Spanish food in genuine places where the locals in Spain go, you might find this place disappointing. We were looking forward to enjoy the Spanish tortillas. Well, in my opinion they came out of plastic packages and then were not even reheated well because they were cold like the fridge they came from in some areas. The Boquerones were not well gutted and hence had a bitter taste sometimes. My breaded fish was very salty and the breadcrumb-cover soaked with oil. I don't know if we just were unlucky, but we would not consider to come back.
Very big portions!
Paella and tapas were good and tasty. Sangria was a little bit more sweet than I expected but it was OK. I can recommend Spanish food lovers.
Very nice restaurant, with a great raised terrace and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was super fresh and cooked to the point and the service was more than outstanding! 100% recommendable, because of great staff and great food.
An absolute recommendation. The starters more than plentiful, you can share a plate. We had three fish dishes as main courses, so the wheat was separated from the chaff quickly and all three were really good and to the point.
The service was very nice but the ambience is getting old. We had a chorizo pizza which was okay but not the hit and once a schnitzel with fries which was unfortunately a bit small and not very crispy. The shop certainly had and still has potential that we unfortunately didn't feel it and that you should do something at that point.
Great service and excellent food.
Very nice host and great food.
authentic spanish cooking
Bravo!
Very friendly staff and great wine. The fish was also great.
Atmospheric restaurant with great authentic food and friendly staff. I recommend sitting in the outside biergarten
Wonderful outside area, friendly service. There are some issues though: - quality of the food does not justify the prices in any way for some dishes - you never take away something that has been served by accident!
Luckily we were able to sit outside. The atmosphere in the interior is not very appealing. The tapas variations were ok, the ordered ajoli was very firm and did not taste. The service was unobtrusive and reasonably ok.

A Spanish restaurant in the heart of the Aldstadt Konstanz. Menu in Spanish with a German conversion. A nice traditional restaurant with an extensive menu.
I felt like in Spain, the atmosphere was very nice. The price / quality/ quantity was good. The waiter was really friendly. We got a free drink and at the end the owner gave us some Truffles as a small Christmas present. In general a recommended place!
Love it to come here. Authentic dishes with authentic service.. all good!
Overall a good place to eat but it feels, and smells, a bit dated
Good paella otherwise not a very nice place.
The service is very attentive and nice. The kitchen as well as the dishes are fantastic! If you like Spanish / Portuguese dishes, you have to come here. The beer garden offers a lot of space outside.
True rating: 0-star If you're a tourist, stay clear of this place.
Terrible service. Hours to wait but still no food. Waiters with bad attitude. No recommendation.
Nice athmosphere in the beer garden, but we were a little disappointed by the tapas which were just avarage..
Fast service but the food is just ok
Authentic and delicious
Good fish but Tapas were not worth the money.
very authentic spanish restaurant - as in Spain, not latin America - has all the staples of typical castilian cuisine. If you are looking for the "real Spain experience", not the cliche, (fancy tapas and overpriced jamon etc.), then this is your place, many spaniards come here as well. I would not even say the Costa del Sol serves outstanding food - if it were in Spain it would be just like the other good place next doors - but it isn't. And that's what makes it special. Plus, it is located in a very casual beautiful cellar, cozy in winter but it also boosts a very nice outdoor garden for long summer nights. One more fact: This place is located in a quite interesting building in Konstanz for over 30 years, it opened way before there was this hype about tapas. Yet, the owners still spend every day in the restaurant and welcome everyone. Truly a small piece of old fashioned Spain right in the heart of Konstanz.
The fact that this restaurant has been here for over 20 years shows they've got something right. I absolutely love the prawns in hot garlic oil as a starter. And everything else too. It's very reasonably priced and everything tastes fantastic. Can't wait to get back.
